Delicious food photography and videography

We love food photography…and pizza, and wine and a mouth-watering steak. Maybe we are just foodies who eat with our eyes. Taking photos and video of food is fun. It’s definitely a challenge because food has aroma and texture and taste that you can’t see but that is always the aim. 

Food styling plays a huge role. You have to have a great eye, know how to dress the food and which props to use to make the food the hero. Then, careful use of light, both natural and artificial is drizzled over the scene to sculpt the picture and make us what to eat the page. We love food and we love food photography.

Food video can be even more exciting with close-ups, slow-mos, eating and savouring. You can capture the emotion of the food. Lighting, food styling and composition are just as important but we can add a little more spice with slow motion photography – crumbling food, steam, molten sauce. Whatever food you want to showcase, video is awesome.
